Honda has been creating its line of hybrid sedans since 1999. It evolved from a two-door and two-passenger vehicle to a four-door and five-seat automobile. There are some consistencies with each generation, like a fuel-efficient economy. That's because each of them comes with Honda's signature Integrated Motor Assist system. The only differences are the various features and amenities whose availability varies by each trim level. The 2021 Honda Insight has three configurations: LX, EX, and Touring.
LX Trim - 2021 Honda Insight
If you know what this trim has to offer, you'll know that the other two types have the same or upgraded version of those advantages. This base configuration comes with most of the Honda Sensing Safety & Driver-Assistive Technologies available with the other two variations. The LX has a three-mode drive system to adapt to multiple kinds of drivers. This configuration and the alternative 2021 Honda Insight trim levels have LED headlights that turn on and off automatically. The LX configuration comes with plenty of conveniences for both the driver and passengers, such as the center console. This trim's center console contains a storage compartment. The steering wheel has buttons that light up. Like the other 2021 Honda Insight trim levels, the LX vehicles turn on with the push of a button. There's only one safety feature the LX doesn't have that the other configurations do: the Blind Spot Information System with Cross Traffic Monitor.
